“Requested cancellation, and they billed me for a full month - going beyond my cancellation date. Their customer service agent tried to tell me that they charge for the previous month - turned out to be a lie as I read back to him the statement clearly stated which days that money was for and it was not the previous month. They then told me when the new service is in place, they will close my account and refund any unused days. So when my new broadband was in place - guess what - they said they would be charging me the full month because they’d now decided that they’d been notified 3 weeks after when I’d actually cancelled the contract.”
